Fall Word Cards

This rainy weather makes for the perfect day to work on new stuff for my classroom and to share on Teachers Pay Teachers.  Teaching Pre-K, having environmental print everywhere is key.  For each thematic unit, I create colorfully illustrated, simple word cards to represent a variety of words within the theme.  Today, I created a set of word cards for the Fall season.  I included basic fall words (apple, leaf, football), Thanksgiving words, and a few Halloween words as well! Making these has made me even more excited for fall!! It is my absolute favorite time of yearcool weather, fun Holidays, and FOOTBALL!! WOHOO!! This teacher LOVES her Georgia Bulldawgs and cannot wait for another great season! Goo Dawgs!

These word cards are now available on Teachers PayTeachers and don’t forget, EVERYTHING will be on sale 20% off August 18-19!

For these word cards, I used the amazing clip art created by Mycutegraphics.com, borders from The 3AM Teacher, fonts from Teaching With Style, and a background from The Hazel Owl!

Back To School Madness

I can’t believe that yesterday was already our 10th day of school.  The beginning of the year is always such a blur.  It is always so interesting to see how a new bunch of little ones react to being at school, many for the first time, and all that goes along with it.  Every year has its challenges, and this one is by far NO exception, but definitely keeping my fabulous assistant teacher and me on our toes.
Just as I am new to the blogger world, I am also a recent new comer to selling on Teachers Pay Teachers.  Can I just say, “ I LOVE TPT!”  I would so much rather purchase items that are teacher created and teacher tested, than pay insane amounts of money for products created by someone who wouldn’t survive five minutes in our amazing world of children and learning.  I have been so humbled by the response I have gotten from some of the products I have recently posted.  My absolute favorite, and most popular seller so far, are my Brain Break cards.  I am a true believer in giving children an opportunity to get up, move around, and be silly.  I can’t sit still in a desk all day, so there is no way I can ask that of them!
My Brain Break cards come on a 14 page digital download that includes 28 Brain Break activities, as well as 8 blank cards for you to write in your own great ideas.  I have included descriptions for most of the Brain Break cards (minus a few that were self-explanatory).  They would work great mounted on craft sticks in a Brain Break bucket, or laminated and hung on a binder ring for easy access!  In my classroom, I used the binder ring and keep them hanging right by my morning meeting/calendar area.

Check out their TPT stores by clicking on the buttons above! They all AMAZING stuff!!

I cannot wait to participate in the upcoming site wide Teachers Pay Teachers Sale!! (Huge Thank you to The 3AM Teacher for the super cute sale banner!)

I am hoping to finish up several other projects I am working on for my TPT store, stay tuned J

  Thank you,
